The Free Compliancy Audit consists of an approved installer measuring the extent of your insulation in a residential home, if said insulation is currently compliant, the home owner will receive a verbal confirmation of their compliancy to the proposed changes of the Residential Tenancy Act. It is the landlords responsibility to compile the statement of extent as required in the Tenancy Agreement folder. To receive a written independent statement of extent compiled by Installed. a fee of NZD$150 + gst will be invoiced to the landlord or property manager.
If the landlord's residential property is currently below a compliant level, Installed will present the landlord with a competitive quote to install GreenStuf Insulation in the Underfloor, Ceiling or both to the highest standard request by New Zealand Standard NZS4218:2009 and NZS4246:2006. Installed will also in the quote provide information pertaining to the installation of Type-1 smoke alarms as also required by the Residential Tenancy Act.
If the landlord accepts the quote and requests an install by Installed. they will receive a complete written certificate of compliancy that is guaranteed by Installed. and GreenStuf. This document will act as the statement of extent for the Tenancy Agreement folder and will be given to the property owner free of charge as part of the install service.
